Motorcycle Air Filter Foam

Twin Air filters, dual stage air filters, are constructed from two layers of high-flow, open-pore foam that are bonded together to provide maximum filtration and superior airflow. The coarse-foam outer shell with a fine-foam inner core, resulting in a one-piece design that permits continuous airflow.

Specifically designed for modern 4-stroke applications, these triple layer filters have an additional flame retardant inner layer for extra protection. The flame-retardant foam of the FRF protects you against the possibility of backfire sparks igniting your filter on fire.

Twin Air filters are slightly smaller than stock filters, to increase the air space around the filter for improved circulation. They are constructed using a special adhesive that is unaffected by repeated cleaning, harsh solvents or gasoline. Each filter contains a thick, greaseless, flat foam sealing ring that insures maximum contact with your airbox, acting as a breathable gasket. They are made to fit in stock airboxes.

Coarse open-pore foam catches airborne dirt, grime and sand. (1)

Exclusively formulated adhesive ensures glue seams will not break down. (3)
Thick, flat foam, greaseless sealing ring ensures maximum contact with your airbox, while acting as a breathable gasket for increased air passage. (4)
Fused outer and inner elements prevent dirt and grime from being lodged between layers, unlike Twin Air, this can be a problem with inferior two-piece designs. Trapped particles can restrict airflow. And if dirt works it's way into your engine, a pinhead-sized granule will gouge your cylinder, piston and rings like a bullet. (5)
Used (Oiled) Air Filter. The coarse outer Shell catches airborne dirt, grime and sand. The fine inner layer traps the little stuff. (6)
